As we start our celebration of Respiratory Care Week, I wish to take this time to offer my sincere appreciation to our profession’s educators. Through all the challenges we’ve faced this past year, your resilience and continued commitment to mentor and inspire our profession’s future is truly extraordinary.
Whether you teach in the classroom, the laboratory, or the clinical setting, your passion for helping students learn what it really means to be a healthcare professional and to always care about what you are doing, whether it is patient care, teaching, or service to your profession, is the reason why I became an educator.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of your students and our profession. Your choice to be a respiratory care educator has earned my respect and admiration.
Sincerely,
