CoARC Call for Comments on Proposed Degree Advancement Eligibility Revision

The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) is proposing a revision to the eligibility requirements in the Degree Advancement Standards.

Deadline for Comments:

Comments must be submitted via survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2026DAEligibility1 OR addressed to Shelley Christensen (shelley@coarc.com) by Thursday, May 21, 2026.

 

Submitting Written Comments:

Written comments must:

  • Include the commenter’s full name, affiliation or relationship to the profession (e.g., student, educator, employer, clinical preceptor, community member), and contact information (email and phone)
  • Be signed (typed signature acceptable if submitted electronically)

 

The CoARC Degree Advancement Programs Committee will review feedback, and revisions will continue until final approval.

  • Individuals associated with RC educational program (CEOs, Deans, Advisory Committee members)
