At its September 9, 2021 Board meeting, the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) proposed revisions to Standard 1.01 of the Accreditation Standards for Entry into Respiratory Care Professional Practice.
The CoARC is now conducting a Call for Comments to encourage broader participation in the Standards revision process and requests that any member of the community of interest please provide their feedback.
The Call for Comments survey, the proposed revisions to Standard 1.01 and Interpretive Guideline, the revision timeline, and a revised CoARC Position Statement on Respiratory Care Education are available by clicking the hyperlinks provided above. This Call for Comments will remain open until October 15, 2021.
Additionally, a virtual Open Hearing is scheduled for Friday, December 10. More details will follow in a later announcement.
